Next Club Meeting is on Tuesday 10th Aug. 7.30pm at our new venue. The Elephant and Castle Hotel on West Tce in the city has welcomed our members to their fine establishment. Great venue with excellent meals if you want to get there early.

THEO NIXON 6HR RELIABILITY TRIAL

PREPARATIONS ARE IN PLACE FOR OUR COMING RELIABILITY TRIAL. THE COURSE FOR OUR THEO NIXON 6HR. TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY AUGUST 14TH WILL BE RUN IN THE MALLALA DISTRICT AND SURROUNDS. MARKING OUT OF COMPETATIVE SECTIONS WILL COMMENCE THIS WEEKEND, JULY 17 1ND 18TH. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF OUR RELIABILITY CONTROL COORDINATORS (LISTED IN WHO'S WHO).

2010 ACUSA PARK RIDE DAYS HOSTED BY THE LEVIS MCC

PLEASE NOTE; FOR SAFETY REASONS THERE WILL BE A LIMIT PUT ON THE NUMBER OF RIDERS ON THE PROPERTY AT EACH RIDE DAY. THE LIMIT WILL VARY DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS. THE FIRST RIDE DAY REACHED THIS LIMIT EARLY AND MANY RIDERS WERE TURNED AWAY. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED BUT THE LIMIT IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL RIDERS. SIGN ON IS FROM 9AM, RIDING FROM 10AM TO 3PM. BE EARLY TO ENSURE YOU GET A RIDE. PHONE A RIDE DAY COORDINATOR ON THE DAY IF YOU REQUIRE AN UPDATE OF NUMBERS.

DUE TO OTHER COMMITMENTS THIS YEAR OUR CLUB HAS REDUCED THE NUMBER OF RIDE DAYS HELD AT ACUSA PARK THAT ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THERE WILL BE 4 SCHEDULED, THE DATES ARE; MAY 16TH, JULY 25TH, SEPT 19TH, SEPT. 26TH. DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF THESE RIDE DAYS THERE MAY BE A LIMIT ON THE AMOUNT OF BIKES ACCEPTED ON EACH DAY. EARLY ARRIVAL AND SIGN ON ARE RECOMENDED. A NEW FLIER FOR 2010 IS AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE NOW. BE SURE TO READ THE NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND TIMES ON THE NEW FLIER.

The Levis Motor Cycle Club is a family oriented club with a strong off road and sidecar focus. General meetings are held from 7:30 p.m. at the Elephant and Castle Hotel, West Tce in the city on the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings are advertised in the Club Notes section of the Advertiser newspaper Thursdays. 

The club organises and runs its own Reliability Trial and actively supports other clubs in the running of theirs'. Club members not only compete in the likes of the 24 Hour Reliability Trial but also man check points etc.

The Club also hosts its own open rounds of the SA Dirt Track titles at ACUSA Park and is involved in interclub events with other clubs. Open to the public and members only Ride Days are also a feature of Acusa Park.

Vintage Motocross riders are also catered for, as the club runs the SA Historic Scrambles Championships at ACUSA Park, generally run in October in conjunction with a round of the ASA Sidecar Championships.

ACUSA Park ride days, open to the fee paying public, have become an important part of the clubs calendar. Not only do they act as an important fund raiser but they also provide a safe family atmosphere to encourage children into the sport. Coaching opportunities and dedicated riding areas for different classes of riders cater for the rank beginner, right through to the advanced off road rider.
